Michael B. Decter
Michael B. Decter is the Chief Executive Officer of LDIC Inc. since 1998. In addition to his role as CEO, he is also the Chair of the Board of Directors and a member of the Investment Committee. He oversees the investment team as the Chief Investment Officer in addition to lead Portfolio Manager on three mandates and two investment funds.
Michael is a graduate of Harvard University with a major in economics. He is also the author of three financial books, The Million Dollar Strategy, The DRIP Strategy and Ten Good Reasons to Invest in Canada.
As a former Deputy Minister of Health for Ontario and Cabinet Secretary in the Government of Manitoba, Michael is a well-recognized speaker on broader political and economic issues. Currently he is Chair of Medavie Blue Cross, Board Member of Blue Cross Life and Auto Sector Retiree Health Care Trust and Chancellor of Brandon University.
